World-Cup Scalpers face Fine or Jail -
People and businesses selling World Cup tickets without FIFA’s permission face a fine of up to R200 000 or a maximum jail term of five years. It wont be good for South Africas image if we have thousands of people being turned away from matches because they have invalid tickets. It could also prejudice South Africas chances of staging large sporting events in future, said Clifford Green from FIFAs lawyers firm Sonnenbergs.
