The Problem with modern football

Category: buy arsenal tickets – Author: admin – 6:12 pm

The Problem with modern football is a short film on everything that is wrong with the game and what can be done about it. Things such as extortionately priced match tickets, mismanagement of clubs from foreign investors who know nothing of the club’s history, the franchising of clubs (Wimbledon) should be stopped and all real fans know that something is wrong with Football. Our game, our passion, don’t let them take it.

Reminds me what I done at a game at Stamford Bridge….(a place where atmosphere is now lost) I was having a sing song and a guy turned around and said “Dya mind we are trying to watch the game ?”

But the people you are on about, to be fair it depends if you were standing infront of tem where they cannot see, but thats football…Standing…Well in my opinion.

  3. good intentions on …
good intentions on the video, but some very poorly selected pictures. ‘Glazer Out’ paper being held by someone with a brand new replica top – irony perhaps?

flag and scarf displays that are funded by the club to try and boost atmosphere, while they activitly stop fans doing this themselves – again irony at its best.

  6. They preach about …
They preach about wanting to protect the heritage and traditions of LFC, then they about how much they want a new stadium.
They would sacrifice LFC’s soul if it means the club would be more likely to win trophies.
They show no real dedication to extraction the American owners. They think singing Yanks Out will force the owners out, BUT when the owners attend a home match, they all go silent. Spirit of Shankly are a pathetic circus.

For the past few years Legia Warsaw fans have been protesting against ITI , a company that owns the club. ITI wants to replace supporters with new ones from middle class which r “better target for companys products” (ITI manager words).

My firm lets say “dont like Legia at all” but we support them cause we want FOOTBALL not soccer.

The problem is though that it isnt an option anymore, your forced to sit down, and its not just if your stood up on your own, its whole rows and blocks being made to sit down.

  24. I agree with a lot …
I agree with a lot of these opinions but in all honesty I don’t think there is anything wrong with having the option to sit down. Seats were invented for a purpose and I see nothing wrong with it. I know you could get more people in but sometimes you just need to sit down, its not the crime of the century.
